Learning Outcomes: By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  1. Construct a persuasive project narrative that clearly communicates the purpose, goals, and alignment of their music education program with grant priorities.

  2. Develop a detailed, itemized budget that accurately reflects project needs and demonstrates fiscal responsibility.

  3. Write a compelling impact statement that articulates the anticipated outcomes for students, schools, and/or communities.

  4. Apply best practices in grant writing to refine their existing outlines into polished, submission-ready applications.

  5. Evaluate and strengthen draft proposals through peer feedback and facilitator guidance during the session.
